Your mission

We are looking for a (Senior) Data Scientist (m/f/d) to join our team in Berlin or Sofia (Bulgaria) in a hybrid work model. Together with our Head of Data Products & Analytics, the Data team, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will develop data-driven solutions that have a tangible impact on our product, operational processes, and strategic decision-making.

Data Insights & Business Impact: You analyze complex datasets—particularly activity and scoring data that form the foundation of our business model. Based on your findings, you derive highly relevant customer and business segmentations as well as actionable recommendations for business units and management.
Predictive Analytics & Machine Learning: You maintain, improve, and expand our existing and future Data Science and Machine Learning products. These include, among others, a TFT-based (Temporal Fusion Transformer) demand forecasting solution, GMV forecasting models, and talent churn prediction models.
AI & Innovation: You evaluate emerging technologies, methodologies, and AI approaches. A key focus area is the development of intelligent agents that make our Data Lake more accessible, intuitive, and efficient for data consumers. You drive innovative ideas from the initial hypothesis through to production deployment.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Enablement: You work closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Business teams. You support both business stakeholders and team members (e.g., Data Analysts) with state-of-the-art methodologies that facilitate data discovery and insight generation. You translate business challenges into analytical solutions and ensure that data is applied effectively and understood across the organization.
Process Automation & Decision Support: You design solutions to automate business processes and provide the algorithmic foundation for critical operational decisions, such as optimized agent shift allocation and workforce planning.
Data Excellence: You ensure the quality, reliability, transparency, and reproducibility of analyses and models. You actively contribute to advancing data-driven standards, governance, and best practices across the organization.

Your skillset

Data Science & Machine Learning Expertise: You have extensive experience in statistical modeling, machine learning, predictive analytics, experimental design, and the development of AI-powered solutions that deliver measurable business value.
Full-Stack Development: You are proficient in designing, developing, and deploying end-to-end applications using Python, SQL, APIs, cloud-native architectures, and modern frontend and backend technologies.
Data Engineering & Data Architecture: You possess strong expertise in building scalable data pipelines, integrating diverse data sources, ensuring data quality, and developing robust data platforms that support analytics and machine learning workloads.
MLOps & Cloud Technologies: You have hands-on experience deploying, monitoring, and maintaining machine learning solutions in production environments. You leverage cloud platforms, containerization technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and established model lifecycle management practices.
Analytical Thinking & Problem-Solving: You translate complex business challenges into data-driven solutions through critical thinking, statistical expertise, and a structured problem-solving approach.
Business Acumen & Stakeholder Management: You communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, support data-driven decision-making, and align data initiatives with broader business objectives.
Leadership & Mentorship: You lead cross-functional projects, support the professional growth of Data Scientists and Engineers, establish best practices, and contribute to building high-performing Data and AI teams.
Innovation & Continuous Learning: You actively stay up to date with technological developments—particularly in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science—drive innovation, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
