Permanent employee

Your mission

We are looking for you as our Bid Manager (m/f/d) for the yoummday Sales team based in Munich.

As Bid Manager (m/f/d), you are responsible for managing the end-to-end bid process — from initial opportunity assessment through to submission of high-quality, compelling proposals. Acting as a strategic partner to the Sales Manager, you ensure all bids are delivered on time, compliant with requirements, and aligned to yoummday’s value proposition.
While the Sales Manager owns the client relationship and overall commercial success, you own the bid process and delivery — ensuring seamless collaboration between all stakeholders to produce winning submissions.

1. End-to-End Bid Management
  • Full lifecycle management of RFIs, RFPs, and tender responses — meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
  • Requirements analysis: interpret RFP requirements and create clear, concise summaries for internal stakeholders.
  • Facilitate Bid/No-Bid decisions by assessing risks, identifying resource needs, and escalating concerns as necessary.
  • Coordinate cross-functional bid teams (Sales, Operations, Talent Acquisition, Legal, IT, Product) — lead kick-off meetings and follow-up workshops.
  • Write, edit, and structure bid responses that are accurate, persuasive, and compliant — integrating both technical and commercial inputs.
  • Track and manage all internal and client deadlines, escalating risks of delay as required.
2. Process, Tools, Documentation & Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain and optimise bid/project management systems (HubSpot, Monday.com, Teams).
  • Keep bid documentation up to date: templates, RFP library, and bid materials always fit for purpose.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvements in bid processes, templates, and workflows.
  • Leverage AI to increase efficiency and improve time-to-answer as well as answer quality.
3. Business Development Support
  • Research and identify new RFP opportunities to increase yoummday’s visibility and participation in tender processes.
  • Proactively reach out to procurement departments of target organizations to increase invitations to RFPs and RFIs.
  • Support the Sales Manager in preparing proposals and presentations by delivering standard content from the RFP library.
