Deine Mission

Wir suchen ab sofort dich als (Senior) Backend Engineer (m/w/d) in unserem Headquarter in München oder in unseren Offices in Berlin, Halle (Saale) und Sofia oder deutschlandweit remote.

Responsibility: Du verantwortest die Weiterentwicklung unserer selbstentwickelten Plattform mit bewährten Coding-, Design- und Qualitätsmanagement-Methoden und findest optimale Lösungsansätze für technische Problemstellungen.
Coding: Du entwickelst unsere webbasierte Plattform nach State-Of-The-Art Ansätzen mit PHP und Symfony, wendest die Grundsätze von Clean Code an und dokumentierst deinen Quellcode auf strukturierte Art und Weise.
Improvement: Du bringst deine Erfahrungen bei der Weiterentwicklung und Konzeption neuer Features in deinem Product Team ein und teilst dein technisches Wissen in übergreifenden Formaten.
Team: Du bist ein fester Bestandteil eines Product Teams aus erfahrenen Product People und Engineers und tauschst dich mit ihnen auf Augenhöhe laufend für die Verbesserung unserer Plattform aus. Zusätzlich bist du technischer Ansprechpartner für unsere Junior Engineers.
Know-How: Du verstehst dein Handwerk, bringst dich auch in Validierungs- und Funktionstests moderner IT-Anwendungen ein oder unterstützt bei Anpassungen oder Wartungen und sorgst somit für eine zukunftssichere effiziente, skalierende Weiterentwicklung unserer Softwarelösung.

Dein Skillset

Du verfügst über eine entsprechende Ausbildung oder ein abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Mathematik, Informatik, Naturwissenschaften oder Technik oder langjährige Berufserfahrung.
Du bist erfahrene:r Software-Entwickler:in, kannst langjährige Kenntnisse in der Erstellung einer Webapplikation mit PHP, Symfony, MySQL und weiteren aktuellen Technologien nachweisen und probierst auch ungewöhnliche Dinge aus, um die Weiterentwicklung unserer Plattform voran zu treiben.
Du denkst dich gern in komplexe Systeme sowie verschiedene Usergruppen ein, hast einen hohen Qualitätsanspruch und eine Leidenschaft für Softwareentwicklung.
Du arbeitest gerne in einem crossfunktionalen Scrum Team und nimmst gern an übergreifenden Austauschformaten ( z.B. Hackathons oder Tech-Days) teil.
Du bist versiert im Umgang Git, Containerisierungstechnologien (Docker und K8s), Jira und mehr.
Du kommunizierst gern sowie souverän in englischer Sprache und verfügst über eine gesunde Portion Humor.

Your mission

We are looking for you as a (Senior) Backend Engineer (m/f/d) at our headquarters in Munich, in our offices in Berlin, Halle (Saale) and Sofia, or remotely from anywhere in Germany.

Responsibility: You will be responsible for the further development of our self-developed platform using proven coding, design, and quality management methods, finding optimal solutions for technical challenges.
Coding: You will develop our web-based platform using state-of-the-art approaches with PHP and Symfony, apply the principles of Clean Code, and document your source code in a structured manner.
Improvement: You will contribute your experience to the development and design of new features in your product team and share your technical knowledge in cross-functional formats.
Team: You will be an integral part of a product team consisting of experienced product people and engineers, exchanging ideas with them on equal footing to continuously improve our platform. Additionally, you will act as a technical point of contact for our junior engineers.
Know-How: You master your craft, participate in validation and functional testing of modern IT applications, support adjustments or maintenance tasks, and ensure a future-proof, efficient, and scalable development of our software solution.

Your skillset

You have relevant training or a degree in mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, or engineering, or bring extensive professional experience.
You are an experienced software developer with long-standing expertise in building web applications using PHP, Symfony, MySQL, and other modern technologies, and you're open to experimenting with unconventional approaches to drive our platform's development forward.
You enjoy diving into complex systems and understanding diverse user groups, maintain high-quality standards, and have a passion for software development.
You thrive in a cross-functional Scrum team and actively participate in collaborative formats (e.g., hackathons or tech days).
You are proficient with Git, containerization technologies (Docker and Kubernetes), Jira, and much more.
