Deine Mission

Wir suchen dich als (Senior) Data Engineer (m/w/d) in Berlin oder München. Du arbeitest dann eng mit dem Head of Data Products & Analytics und den Expertenteams zusammen, um innovative Lösungen zu entwickeln und die Datenstrategie erfolgreich umzusetzen.

Data Lake & Warehouse Management: Du entwickelst Prozesse und Strukturen für unser Data Warehouse sowie das Lakehouse. Du gewährleistest eine hohe Datenqualität sowie schnelle, zuverlässige Datenbereitstellung für unsere Business Stakeholder entlang der gesamten Data Value Chain.
Data Operations & Infrastruktur: In enger Zusammenarbeit mit den DevOps- und Security-Teams entwickelst und implementierst du die Dateninfrastruktur in einer hybriden Umgebung (on-premise und Cloud). Du gestaltest die Datenarchitektur aktiv und arbeitest daran, die Infrastruktur programmatisch bereitzustellen.
Berichte & Analysen: Du unterstützt bei der Erstellung von detaillierten Berichten und tiefgehenden Analysen, die unsere Datenstrategie vorantreiben. Dabei identifizierst du schnell Engpässe und Fehlerquellen und setzt eigenständig Anforderungen an eine stabile und sichere Datenversorgung um.
Datenqualität & -optimierung: Du trägst aktiv zur Verbesserung der Datenqualität und -flüsse bei, identifizierst Optimierungspotenziale und implementierst Lösungen zur kontinuierlichen Verbesserung der Dateninfrastruktur.
Datenverfügbarkeit & Standardisierung: Du setzt Datenanbindungen mithilfe von Skripten und Plattformmethoden um und bist Teil des Teams, das die Datenversorgung in der Organisation standardisiert, um eine konsistente und zuverlässige Datenverfügbarkeit zu gewährleisten. Besonders interessant ist dabei die Entwicklung von Prozessen zur einfachen Integration unterschiedlichster Datenquellen und -formate unserer Kunden (z.B. mit Python, Airflow, MS Fabric, etc.).

Dein Skillset

Akademische Grundlage: Du hast ein abgeschlossenes Studium in Computer Science, Informatik, Mathematik oder einem verwandten Fachbereich und setzt deine fundierten theoretischen Kenntnisse erfolgreich in der Praxis um.
Technische Expertise: Du verfügst über umfassende Kenntnisse in SQL, Python, Statistik und Datenbankdesign und beherrschst die gesamte Datenpipeline. Du entwickelst kontinuierlich effiziente Lösungen zur Optimierung unserer Datenprozesse.
Unternehmerischer Geist: Du agierst proaktiv in einem dynamischen Umfeld und entwickelst ergebnisorientierte Lösungen, die sowohl kurz- als auch langfristige Unternehmensziele fördern.
Kommunikationsstärke: Du präsentierst komplexe technische Themen klar und verständlich auf Deutsch und Englisch und vermittelst sie effektiv an alle relevanten Stakeholder.
Praktische Denkweise: Du zeichnest dich durch eine pragmatische, zielgerichtete Herangehensweise aus und setzt Projekte effizient um, stets mit Fokus auf Skalierbarkeit und Nachhaltigkeit.

Your mission

We are looking for you a (Senior) Data Engineer (m/f/d) in Berlin or Munich. You will work closely with the Head of Data Products and expert teams to develop innovative solutions and successfully implement our data strategy.

Data Lake & Warehouse Management: You will be responsible for our Data Warehouse, Lakehouse, and associated processes. You ensure high data quality and fast, reliable data provisioning for our business stakeholders across the entire data value chain.
Data Operations & Infrastructure: In close collaboration with our DevOps and Security teams, you will develop and implement data infrastructure in a hybrid environment (on-premise and cloud). You will actively shape the data architecture and work on programmatic provisioning of the infrastructure.
Reporting & Analysis: You will contribute to creating detailed reports and in-depth analyses to advance our data strategy. You will quickly identify bottlenecks and sources of errors, independently implement requirements for stable and secure data provisioning.
Data Quality & Optimization: You will actively improve data quality and flows, identify optimization potential, and implement solutions to continuously enhance the data infrastructure
Data Availability & Standardization: You will implement data integrations using scripts and platform methods and be part of the team standardizing data provisioning across the organization to ensure consistent and reliable data availability

Your skillset

Academic Foundation: You hold a degree in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, or a related field, and successfully apply your solid theoretical knowledge in practice.
Technical Expertise: You have extensive knowledge in SQL, Python, statistics, and database design, mastering the entire data pipeline. You continuously develop efficient solutions to optimize our data processes.
Entrepreneurial Spirit: You act proactively in a dynamic environment, developing results-oriented solutions that promote both short- and long-term business goals.
Communication Skills: You present complex technical topics clearly and understandably in both German and English, effectively conveying them to all relevant stakeholders.
